Bread
Baking our own bread has been quite an adventure and rewarding experience. It all started when we watched Cooked on Netflix and were completely shocked that America allowed over 100 ingredients to be added into the bread while most European countries only allowed on average about 10 ( I may have gotten that statistic wrong but its pretty close).
WHAT! we both said that is crazy! all those artificial ingredients are in our bread! all those chemicals!, of course, we wanted to do right by our bodies and we LOVE bread. to add to this intriguing situations my husband has celiac, and in theory really shouldn't eat regular bread anyways. But when I asked him if it made him sick ( like most bread do a few hours after he has eaten it.) he said no it surprisingly didn't make him bloated or tired or upset his stomach.
So we tried this recipe and were amazed at the taste and ease and flavor oozing from the bread. Autumn writes such a great recipe and for someone who was very intimidated to bake bread I was a breeze to repeat. At this point, I've almost got it memorized because of the ease!
Next, I want to try this recipe by Cider with Rosie. Who I have followed for quite a long time, she was one of the first bloggers I really connected with as a reader.
Try one of the recipes and tell me what you think! Or leave a link to your favorite bread!
Talk to ya'll later!
