Me Made 2022
I had posted this on my Instagram but really wanted to do a full break down of my dream sewing projects for this year.
i think this is a fun way to document my wish makes and reflect on at the be difficult the year of I was able to accomplish my goals.
Sage Green Linen Sundress
What says spring more than a sage green? For me maybe flowers but this color is one I could live in! (And spoiler, it will be making an appearance again later.) A good sundress can be an amazing price for your wardrobe as it is perfect for a day at the beach, a wedding or a date night depending on how you asscorize.
For me I’m leaning toward the one piece no flounce style. With the midi skirt length to be able to transition into autumn with sweater and tights layering.
Cream Linen Pants
Now I have been hunting down the perfect pair of linen pants, and since I can’t find the classic Katherine Hepburn style in stores anymore. I decide to do what any rational person would and will be making some. Seriously the fact that these are almost impossible to find in stores is baffling to me. It’s such a classic look and flattering on so many body types. Plus linen for the summer is something that should not be a trend but a staple as it is so comfortable and cooling.
Red Linen Sundress
Yes, this is the same dress as before but, I love the sale so much and let’s be honest that’s how to get use out of a pattern by making it more than once! I have wanted a red sundress for so long and I think this will be my year to make it. I have been picturing myself in one since I heard the song “Something bout a truck” and I know that sound cheesy but, after how many years it’s truly going to be a dream come true!
Green Linen Shorts
I told you the green linen was going to make a return! As shorts, when I saw this pattern had a shorts option I got so excited because what screams summer more than green hiking shorts. I could just imagine myself exploring in the comfort of linen year after year. Campsite and campsite. Beach after beach.
So tell me, what makes are you dreaming of this year?
Talk to y’all later!
