Spring Cleaning

Who doesn’t love a good spring cleaning? With the flowers in bloom and more sunlight giving us energy this is always a great time to literally dust off the cobwebs and sort out those deep cleaning tasks.

Let’s go over what some of those deep cleaning tasks are.

First off, let’s tackle the easy tasks, so one of my favorite general cleaners for the entire house. Literally, I use this on everything is my Thieves all-purpose cleaner you do get this through Young living and I’ve got a link right here. It’s awesome! It smells like autumn all the time and has a cinnamon, clove mix which honestly even though it’s spring I still love those scents. They just make my home feel warm and cozy and comforting. Just the best. Plus I know I’m using plant-based ingredients that are good for my dogs and my family.

Along the same lines is the Thieves Scrub for the bathroom and kitchen this thing is amazing for the bathtub it can get out so much junk that builds up in your bathtub and it just does it so easily it’s like I don’t even have to scrub even though it’s a scrub it’s amazing and I absolutely love it.

Next up, let’s get into some of our basics who doesn’t love just a really good vacuum! Now I have a heavy-duty vacuum and quite honestly I am thinking about replacing it. Just because of the fact that it’s a little too much vacuum for my space. It’s great, it’s hypoallergenic, again I’ll link it here, but it just is a little much. What I would love is one of these robot vaccums. I’ve been wanting one for, let’s be honest 11 years now, probably closer to 15. It’s not that I dislike vacuuming but, I don’t enjoy vacuuming. So I would love to have one of these robot vacuums to do the vacuuming for me, especially with two dogs around that shed like crazy.

Now let’s get into the nitty-gritty of cleaning. So my husband, true story, used to be a professional carpet cleaner. And when we were hunting for a personal carpet cleaner to have at home when the dogs have accidents we found this bad boy. It is amazing it’s small it fits in my laundry room, top shelf, and I love it. It’s so easy to use. It’s so easy to clean out and it works really well. I’ve even used it to clean our mattress instead of hiring a professional. Because you know, I don’t know if you know this, but you should be deep cleaning your mattress from time to time. Not many people know this. We use it to clean our couch, our carpets, and our other furniture. It’s amazing and we love it. And because it’s so small, if the dogs do you have an accident, it’s quick to pull out, clean up the accident right away before it has a chance to set it. Then clean up the machine and put it back. It’s amazing we love this!
