Themes: Only child, going up feeling different, royalty, single-parent household

This book was such a quick joyous read. I would describe it as Princess Diaries meets Crazy Rich Asians. The story follows Izumi or Izzy as she discovers her long unknown father is the Crown Prince of Japan and the adventures that follow as she reconnects with her unknown family. I thoroughly enjoyed the small twists and turns that the story took. Most expected but, in a comforting way. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.
