A walk in Umstead

 

There is a beautiful State Park that is tucked away in the city of Raleigh, we’ve been wanting to visit since we’ve moved and didn’t have a chance till recently. 

It was wonderful we went with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed both the hike and the company. The weather was the first truly cool weekend and so while we worked up out heart rate, it was still very comfortable out.

We are looking forward to camping there before the nights get too chilly. This may not happen this year but at least it’s close enough for a quick trip anytime next year.
