I’m back! Maybe...

Hello people!

It’s been a good long while since I’ve posted on here. And yes I never did finish transferring all my old posts from the old blog. (I really should get around to that...) any ways I thought I’d try to star at this up again as it was a great way to blow off steam some times and taking beautiful photos is always a pleasure for me.

I thought if start off with a good old what made me happy post as those are simple and relaxing to put together. Maybe it’ll get the creative juices flowing again!

1. Lighting candles everywhere! I have become almost obsessed with having lit candles around the house it’s extremely relaxing and the house smells wonderful!

2. Starting a quilt. I’ve been learning how to sew since about January and I’ve decided to tackle my first quilt. I’ll be doing an extremely easy pattern so hopefully it will fly quickly.

3. Roasting everything, my oven has been getting a lot of use lately, roasting meats and veggies. We haven’t quite gotten to bread yet but it’s on my wish list.

4. Getting together with friends again. After we got married we happily stuck to our little love bubble and may have accidentally excluded some friends in the process. Not on purpose! But now we are spending more time with friends again and it is very enjoyable!

5. Prepping for Yarn Crawl! The Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas starts in a few weeks and I have been happily prepping away. Squirreling away cash and pattern shopping. Plus I’m going with my mom this year which should be fun! And I’ve got another little surprise in store for crawl that I can’t annouce till closer! Eek!

6. Eargerly waiting for fall! It is still hot here in South Texas but I have been checking the forecast for cool weather everyday!!

7. I was still sick at the beginning of the week and drinking hot tea with a cough drop in it was the most relaxing thing for my throat.

8. Taylor Swifts new songs! Eek I love them! I know some people don’t like the tougher sound but I really do it’s different for her but the lyrics are still very Taylor

9. Dreaming of camping. We have been talking about going on a camping trip for a while and it just sounds so wonderful to get back into nature where my heart is the happiest that I have not stopped stalking tents and sleeping bags for weeks now!

10.  Boots. Breaking out my boots for fall has been so much fun.

Come on Autumn I’m ready for you!
