Cast Iron Skillet: Pork Chops and Green Beans

I've been playing around with a cooking series for a while. One thing that really appealed to me was using only a cast iron skillet. We all say we need one but other than fried chicken how often do you really use it? After searching for a few recipes that other have done and getting inspired I've tried my hand a few. The first in this series will be pretty simple: Pork Chops!!
Ingredients
Pork chops
Green beans
salt and pepper
Oil ( I prefer Olive)
1. Heat oven to 400. While preheating place chops in skillet and season with a pinch of salt and pepper on each side.
2. Add a bit of oil not much just enough so the chops don't stick to the pan.
3. Then add you green beans. I use fresh beans where you have to snap the ends (or cut), but you can use canned if you prefer. Just be sure to drain the beans before you add them to the skillet.
4. After that just cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Here are some snap shots:
I had some rice leftover from dinner the other night so I heated it up to go with this meal. You can serve whatever side you love!
