Daddy's Potato Soup
When I was little my dad used to make me this potato soup. He would stand in the kitchen, take a freshly sharped knife and thinly slice the potatoes. It was mesmerizing to watch him. and while he made the soup he would talk to me we always had talk when dad made potato soup.
Then when I was a little older, and dad was making his soup one day, mom came in and told me that it was kinda funny that I loved his soup so much, because while she was pregnant with me, all she could stand to eat was dad's potato soup. So it is kinda funny that it's my favorite. Here it is Daddy's famous potato soup.
1 1/2 potato to each serving.
Some milk(I use almond milk, but regular milk is fine too)
Peel the potatoes, the take a cheese grater and grate them. Pile all the grating into a sauce pan, and generous add water. After it is soft and a nice thick, consistency, add the milk a good dollop. Add a tiny bit of salt, and a large sprinkle of pepper.
That's all, it so simple, yet so delicious.
