Garlicky Garden

We have a small apartment patio. Which is very difficult to garden on, because of size. So when I can plant something in a small pot it is very exciting!! Recently I tried an idea I saw on Pinterest where you grow garlic from the clues you buy at the store. And so far it has worked!! Here's what I did and how it looks along the way.

First, we just stuck one small clove with the smaller side up an the rough side down into the dirt. Water every week, not to often. And...

Over time it will grow a small leaf. Let the leaf grow(it will get very tall) until it turns brown and drys up. Then you can harvest!! Or turn around and grow more cloves!!

Next, I think I am going to fill a small long planter with the garlic to keep a constant supply!
